Help Desk Engineer

Location: Hauppauge, New York

Main Responsibilities include: Provide client support and technical issue resolution via e-mail, phone and other electronic medium. 

Minimum Technical Qualifications:
  • PC Windows, Software and Networking Environments
  • Setup, Configuration, and Diagnostics of both wired and wireless networks
  • System Administration
  • Desktop Email Client Setup and Configuration
  • Remote Access (VPN, Remote Desktop Connection, Terminal Server)
  • Various Software Installations
  • Data Backup/Recovery
  • Computer Hardware Diagnostics/Installation/Replacement
  • Virtual removal of Malware and Viruses
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience with hardware and software issues
  • Preferably 3 years of relevant IT experience
